Registration
Candidates that have met all the pre-screening criteria are
then shortlisted.
Registering a candidate's interest in care work includes the
use of a comprehensive application form. Capturing written information on
a candidate provides important documentary evidence for use during the
recruitment, interview and vetting procedure. Our application form
includes:
Personal details - name/maiden name, address, contact
numbers, next of kin, date of birth, nationality and work eligibility,
National Insurance number, etc
Education - school/college/university details,
qualification results, dates attended, placement details, etc
Employment - full employment history from school with
written explanation of any gaps in employment
Employment record - the candidate should comment on their
disciplinary record to establish if they have been dismissed previously or had
disciplinary action against them, etc
Criminal Records disclosure check - all applicants should
answer questions on criminal convictions both spent and unspent and detail any
current police check they hold
Personal details - record candidate's height, eye colour,
distinguishing features, date and place of birth, etc
References - contact names and positions
Declaration - a signed and dated declaration on the information given
