Induction

All home care workers that pass our recruitment, assessment and vetting process are required to attend and pass our 3 day induction training course before commencing work.  Induction training is in line with national standards and is conducted at one of our fully equipped and staffed training centres.  Once induction training has been successfully completed, home care workers are issued with safety equipment, ID badges and their staff handbook.

Pre-assignment Briefing

Prior to commencing work with a service user, home care workers receive an in-depth briefing on the requirements of the care package.  They gain a thorough insight and understanding of the needs of the service user through an exhaustive handover covering the needs assessment, care plan and risk assessment.
