Employer Zone - The BS Home Care Recruitment Process (Cont.) Ongoing Supervision and Training As well as being briefed and inducted before commencement of duties, all home care workers also receive ongoing training and supervision to national standards throughout the course of their assignments. Alongside regular team meetings, all home care workers receive a 6 monthly office based supervision session and a further two in the field. BS Home Care are able to offer bespoke training sessions and workshops to meet the individual needs of home care workers and our clients. The ongoing training and supervision of staff ensures that high levels of service delivery are maintained and improvements to our service can be implemented through regular consultation with workers, service users and other interested parties. NVQ Training BS Home Care is accredited with City and Guilds as an NVQ Training Centre to deliver NVQ Level 2 in Care and we employ a number of NVQ Assessors and Internal Verifiers at our training centres. Home care workers generally commence NVQ training after 6 months engagement either through our own training centres or externally with one of our training partners. |
