At BS Social Care, we have a responsibility to our clients, candidates and those that receiver care to uphold the highest standards of safety and security. We have a robust set of procedures in place that goes above and beyond even that which is required by law.

All our candidates are subject to a stringent screening process that includes:

  1. Ensuring solid experience in social care work
  2. Checking eligibility to work in the UK
  3. ID, address and qualifications checks
  4. Checking work-related disciplinary records
  5. Reference-checking (minimum of two employment references)
  6. Enhanced CRB disclosure (immediately available temporary candidates)

For permanent recruitment, we take two work references and conduct full CRB checks to give you added peace of mind, and track registration of nurses and social workers with relevant professional membership bodies.

We’re local specialists with national coverage – we understand the needs of the local market, and how to identify those people with the right skills, which are in short supply and high demand. Through access to nationwide branch network of over 100 offices, we’re closer than many of our competitors, and will frequently arrange open evenings or career days in other locations to attract candidates.

Our sophisticated database enables us to match candidate and client needs nationally, especially for those roles for which candidates will relocate.
