That’s why we’ve invested in the BS Care Academy, which overseas programmes of first-class, comprehensive training and learning, including:

1. Skills for Care Compliant Induction: Common induction standards training is available to all care staff to equip you with the information and confidence to provide first-class care
2. Classroom Training: In-house practical training covering areas such as:
• Moving & Handling
• Health & Safety
• Dementia care
• Food hygiene
• Risk assessment
• Handling medication
• Safeguarding
3. E-Learning: BS Social Care is partnering with Scils – Social Care Information and Learning Services, an online learning resource that gives you the opportunity to advance your knowledge at your own pace, or in supportive online communities of like-minded professionals in adult and children’s social care

We also regularly commission external training for more specialist areas of social care, or where a client has particularly urgent, large-volume requirements for specific skills.
