Job Description

Support Worker Mental Health and Learning Disabilities Locked Rehabilitation - Wings

£9.06 per hour
12 hour shifts- Day or Night (7am-7.30pm, 7pm-7.30am)
£1000 welcome bonus
Video or telephone interviews We are urgently seeking full time (37.5 hours per week) to join our team in Mildenhall.

This is a locked rehabilitation hospital which is an inpatient service located in Mildenhall. Specialising in supporting people with Mental Health needs and/or Autism as well as having a dedicated women's Dialectical Behaviour Therapy unit (Personality Disorder). There is a comprehensive multi-disciplinary team comprising Psychiatry, Psychology, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy and a dedicated team of Recovery Workers. The service which provides support for those progressing onwards from secure services or requiring a step up into enhanced care.

Duties: Help with personal care, budgeting, shopping, cleaning, cooking, laundry and assistance with medication, find a fun way of supporting with them, the more fun you can fit in to the day the better your day will be.

You will be encouraged to be creative and innovative in the way things are done. Work actively to support patients to step down into residential services and supported living. Work with families, medical staff and stakeholders to help the people we support achieve their dreams.
