Location: Leeds City Centre - Can work from home

Hours: Monday- Friday 37.5 hours per week (very flexible shifts between 7am-7pm)

Salary: £12.45 per hour

We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to work for our client within the Environment Agency. This will be a long term temporary assignment.

Overview of role:
You will provide routine Administrative support task according to well-established procedures to Senior Management within Project and Contract Management team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing the teams mailbox
• Booking and arranging meetings
• General administration e.g. filing, photocopying and proof-reading data
• Minute taking
• Following up on actions from interviews
• Responding to queries and passing messages to the Senior Management Team
• Delivering standard Flood Risk data sets to customers
• Supporting management of Flood Risk data inquiries
• Basic GIS tasks to enable efficient delivery

Skills required for the role:

• Good knowledge of Microsoft packages e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel
• Good communication both verbal and written
• Time management and organisation
• Previous administration experience
• Qualified to degree level in Science / Geography
• Some practical experience of using GIS and working with spatial data
