Job Description
Health Education England - Administrator
Location: Leeds (Home working may move to a hybrid model so need to be based near Leeds)
Hours: Monday - Friday 09:00 - 5:00 (37 hours)
Pay: £12.58ph
This is a temporary position until July with possibility of extension and opportunity to apply for permanent positions within the organisation
Asset performance officer will help maintain flood defences. The Temporary Worker will provide routine administrative support tasks according to well-established procedures.
The role:
- Sorting and distributing emails
- Organising meeting and taking notes
- keeping computer filing systems up to date and proof-reading data
- Using internal asset data/management systems and keeping them up to date
- Answering telephone calls and relaying messages
- Creating maps (Ark GIS skills useful)
- Creating project information forms and collecting data for contractors
Essential skills and experience:
- strong experience using Microsoft package (Outlook, Excel, Word),
- strong experience in administration
- excellent communication skills (written and oral),
- flexible, able to work in a fast-paced environment,
- team player but also being able to work independently,
- familiar communicating with senior management.
- Two GCSEs at Grade C or above or equivalent
- Geography, engineering or asset management experience useful
- Good communication skills written and verbally
- Teamwork skills
- Use own initiative
- Able to manage own workload
