Our Public Sector client based in Birmingham City Centre is currently looking for an Administrative Assistant to support their team. This will be Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm however the successful candidate must have a degree of flexibility in line with the needs of the business This will also include alternating 10am to 6pm (one to two weeks in four on average). This will be an ongoing temporary assignment, paying £8.91 per hour up to £9.11, please note that for 23 years and under this will be paying £8.36 then going up to £9.11 in the 13th working week.
This role is working within a small contact centre where you will be responding to calls and emails requesting to book visitors on the system, ensuring that you review all information accurately and complete the booking carefully and fully, so a high degree of accuracy is essential. You will need to have excellent customer service skills so experience within this environment previously is key, this does not necessarily have to have been in a contact centre. You must be able to multitask and have strong IT skills and use of a database would be beneficial.
You will receive full training for the first 5 weeks on site in a COVID safe environment, and then the opportunity to work from home will be a possibility.
Please note this role will require an enhanced clearance which can take 5-6 weeks to complete.
