I am currently recruiting on behalf of a West Midlands based organisation that are located in Birmingham and Sutton Coldfield that offer care and support packages for vulnerable adults living within the community with learning disabilities, autism, mental health and older adults.
They are looking to add to their award-winning team with the role of Adult Services Manager. The role and the responsibilities of the adult service will consist of;
To positively support the Registered Manager in providing leadership to the administration, care, catering, housekeeping, laundry and maintenance functions of The Service.
To deputise for the function of the Registered Manager during their absence, while at all times supporting the decisions made by the Registered Manager.
To maintain support and management skills at a current level and undertake such training and development as may from time-to-time be required to maintain that currency of practice.
To manage the services within The Service in accordance with standards agreed with the Registered Manager, Registered Provider, legislative requirements, relevant regulations, and in line with accepted best practice, and within the financial plans agreed
To be successful within this role you must have experience in a management role as either a senior, team leader or deputy manager. Have at least 3 years in care. Have fantastic communication skills both written and verbal. To be able to lead a team with confident and mentor staff in a positive manner. You must also be a driver with the flexibility to work the on call rota once a month.
For your ongoing commitment and support for this fantastic organisation you will get an annual salary of between £23,500 and £25,500, 22 days holiday plus the bank holidays. Pension plan as well as the opportunity to complete your NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management.
