Adults Supported Living - Support Worker (Contract)

BS Social Care are proud to announce we are working with a major, reputable care organisation who support vulnerable individuals with learning disabilities across Wales and England. This opportunity is available in Cardiff for individuals who will promote equality and diversity through equal opportunities and care for vulnerable individuals.

The role will involve supporting individuals with various learning disabilities and mental health issues at the service for the next 2-3 months with the potential for extension. This post requires individuals on a full-time basis who have knowledge of working in supported living environments where you will support alongside full-time members of staff. Additionally, within your role, you will aid individuals within the local community and their daily activities through drawing upon your experience, having great communication skills, being proactive and engaging with the service users.

Successful candidates will have PBM (or equivalent), be proactive, have experience in supported living environments and be a driver.

To work with us, you will need:

• A minimum of 6 months paid, hands-on experience working within the care sector within the last 12 months or 12 months in the last 5 years.
• To be a driver
• Have PBM (or equivalent)
• Great communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
• Desirable: DBS on the update service
