Agency Waking Night Support Worker

B - Up to £10.50 p/h + holiday pay + benefits

Shift Time - 20:00 - 08:00 (Block bookings available throughout whole of July and likely to be ongoing)

Here at BS Social Care, we're looking for reliable and experienced support workers to join our Agency due to a large increase in working with a community based service for adults with learning disabilities in BS35 Bristol. We have built solid partnerships through our commitment to provide the best service to people caring for the most vulnerable people in society
Within your role, you will be helping support highly reputable organisations across various residential homes for vulnerable adults with learning disabilities, mental health, autism, and other additional needs.
Personal Care & Meds training is particularly desirable.

The Role:
You will be supporting 4 service users during the night, 2 service users usually sleep all the way through, 1 service user will wake up at 6am, the other service user tends to wake up around 3am or 5am for a drink etc. Sometimes you must set boundaries as some can stand too close and invade eprsonal space. We have had great feedback about this service and they will always give an induction and on going support to new starters.

To work with us, you will need:
" training rquired: safeguarding, MCB studio 3, Experience working with people with Autism
" 6 months paid, hands-on experience or recently undertaken training
" To be approachable, friendly, proactive and engage with the services users
" Great communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
" Desirable: DBS on the update service
