Situated in acres of countryside on the outskirts of Exeter, we have been delivering high quality care to our residents for over 20 years. We specialise in looking after elderly residents in our 35 bed nursing home; with a focus on providing a stimulating and holistic environment to create the very best home possible for people to spend their later years. We`re looking for an experienced Registered Manager, to help improve and develop our home, over the past year we`ve started to implement big changes in the home and we`re looking for a fabulous registered manager that can take the reins and develop our home further. That`s why we`re looking for you!
You will be an experienced Registered Manager, experienced in looking after homes with over 20 beds and a good track record with the CQC. You will be enthusiastic about care; it`s all about making people feel valued and providing the best level of care possible. You`ll have plenty of care knowledge, where you`ll have had experience organising rotas, supervising staff, creating care plans, as well as doing risk assessments and audits. You`ll know how to be a positive influence when dealing with people, of course it goes without saying you`ll be a good team player, honest and invested in delivering the highest level of care. You`ll be savvy with computers; as a home we`re completely paperless now, so you`ll need to know your way around a Desktop and be able to learn new systems quickly!
We`re looking for someone that is happy to be hands on with service users, we hope you feel the same! If you have a level 5 qualification that would be great, but don`t worry if not, if you`re on your way to it, we`ll help you finish it. We care about your achievements, skills, passion and creativity. We value people, whether it`s our residents or our staff, we want to make sure they`re looked after.
