Job Description

A leading and innovative provider of care services are currently recruiting for an Area Manager to take responsibility of travelling between the branches at Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. Ensuring, that assessment, reviews, audits and compliance are met with Statutory, mandatory and contractual obligations.

Main duties and responsibilities include:

- Understanding of the relevant Statutory Regulations and other Legislation surrounding the Care Sector, including that of (GDPR)
- Essential for the role to have Strong CQC understanding
- Maintaining confidentiality at all times
- Reporting to the Operational Director of day to day tasks
- Supervising and Managing branches, ensuring they are adhering to high standards
- Build and Maintain a close working relationship with Branch Managers and their staff to plan the service effectively
- Involvement with Human Resources, Recruitment and training of staff
- Shadow and mentor new staff from induction and throughout their employment
- Maintaining care hours and to support all the growth of Council and Private clients
- Provide KPI data from managers and provide required information in a timely manner
- Responsible for branches out of hours On-Call emergency rota as required
- Dealing with complaints, unplanned absences and maintain service delivery

Essential for the role to be successful

- Driver with access to own vehicle
- NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care
- Previous experience of working as a Care Manager or similar role
- Experience of Negotiating Care Packages
In return, you will receive a competitive salary up to £40000 dependent on experience, as well as an appealing car allowance of £5000 and annual leave allowance.
