Job Description

Due to an internal promotion, I am seeking an Assistant manager to join a leading provider of residential and housing care for older adults and adults with learning disabilities at one their established and homely residential settings in Stoke-On-Trent.

You will become a key member of the management team for a well-respected provider who provides a variety of housing, care and support services across the Telford, Shropshire and Staffordshire regions.

Employed on a full-time basis, you will work closely with the registered manager to oversee the day to day running of a small residential setting.

You will play a key role in care and support planning, whilst actively supporting the people who reside here to live independent and fulfilling lives.

In the absence of the home manager, you will oversee the day to day running of your home, manage the staff team and ensure quality and compliance.

The Assistant Registered Manager role is the perfect opportunity for a skilled senior support worker or team leader who is seeking their first step into a management role. Alternatively, you may be a registered manager who is looking for a new challenge but doesn't want to hold CQC registration.

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must:

* Hold a minimum of the level 3 in health and social care. Ideally you will be working towards the level 5 in leadership and management or be committed to achieving this.

* Have proven experience within residential care, supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex behaviours

* Have flexibility to share the on-call rota with the registered manager

In return, you will receive a competitive salary up to £22800, dependent on experience, ongoing training and development, generous annual leave allowance and other exciting benefits.
