Job Description

Care Assistant

Our client, a reputable care provider in the Chepstow area, is looking for a fantastic Care Assistant to work in one of their EMI care homes. This role involves working in both the nursing and the residential parts of the home. You will promote and encourage independence, dignity and care. You will provide personal care, engage in activities and generally assist with the client's mental and physical well-being.

About you:

You must have a proven track record of working with elderly people. You must be organised, have effective time-management skills and must be an excellent team player. You will be a confident communicator and you will be experienced in working within a similar setting. You will be caring, empathetic and patient.

The successful applicant will be required to have an Enhanced Disclosure Barring and Service check, registered with the online update service. Although, this is not required for application. Having a QCF Level 2 or higher in Health and Social care is particularly desirable, although not essential.
