I am currently working with an establish provider of home care that are seeking CARE ASSISTANTS to cover the WORCESTERSHIRE area. They are an organisation that have branches nationwide and most branches have GOOD and OUTSTANDING CQC reports. They provide a person-centred care approach to all their clients which makes them a number one choice amongst families seeking care for their loved ones.
The role of a Home Care Assistant is varied, and your day will be led by the needs of the clients that you care and support. Being a warm, kind and compassionate person is a key skill for this role, you will also be responsible for the following;
- Promoting customer health and well-being, enabling them to live their life to the full
- Administering medication
- Providing personal care duties
You will be part of a larger team so being a team player, being organised and being pro active are also key skills.
To be successful within this role you need to have at least 12 months experience within the care industry, be a driver with access to a car and ideally have your NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care however this is not essential.
For your hard work and commitment, you will be given the opportunity to develop your career further, have an annual leave allowance of 25 days plus bank holidays and be on a £19,500 plus mileage.
