Job Description

BS Social Care are currently working with a regional and locally recognised provider of health and social care for adults.


Based within a 20 plus residential setting, with a focused respite service for older adults and adults with dementia, you will be employed on a PART TIME and FULL TIME DAYS basis (21 and 28 hour positions available).

Your duties will be varied and will include:
* personal care and support
* dementia and palliative care
* hoisting
* feeding
* working within personalised care and support plans
* working within a multi-disciplinary team

To be considered for this role, you must demonstrate a proven background within the social care sector, ideally within elderly and dementia care, hold a minimum of NVQ level 2 in health and social care and be committed to the delivery or person centred care and support.

Excellent communication skills, a genuine passion for caring and the drive to make a difference are also essential for this role.

In return, you will receive a competitive hourly rate up to £8.90 per hour depending on your skills, qualifications and experience, ongoing training and development and genuine progression opportunities.
