I have an incredible opportunity to work for a well-established Residential care home as they are now recruiting for a Part Time Care Assistant (20-30 hours per week) role in the Warminster area. This care home specialises in providing professional care for older people, whilst maintaining the highest standard of care for those who can no longer remain in their own homes.
The day to day duties of this role will include:
-Handing over to your supervisors
-Caring for residents, including personal care and possibly manual handling
-Assisting at meal times
-Administration of medication and medication rounds
-Possibly responding to emergency situations with your supervisor
You need to be someone who can work as a team player, who is driven and passionate about their work in the care sector. Also, someone who is friendly, approachable and have excellent communication skills. You will also need to be flexible, reliable and presentable.
Successful candidates will need a driving licence and their own transport due to the location of the home.
This role would suit somebody who is keen to develop their career in the care sector and is passionate about supporting older people, it might be particularly suitable for someone who has some experience in care whether it be personal or professional.

Salary: £8.95 p/h - £9.55 p/h (dependent upon experience & qualifications)
-Hours: 20-30 hours a week, with a 2-week rota, with every other weekend off
-No sleep ins
-Shift Patterns: 7.30AM-12PM or 2PM-10PM
