We have a brand new exciting opportunity working in a residential and educational setting supporting individuals with learning disabilities!

BS Social Care is one of the UK`s leading recruitment specialists, specialising in sourcing and placing skilled workers into roles within the social care sector.

You will be supporting individuals within an educational setting, these individuals have moderate to profound learning disabilities. Your main duties will be seeding programmes, delivering educational activities after school and supporting on educational visits. You will be running of the care side setting which is in a residential setting. You will be working alongside 8/9 people, there will be personal care to assist with. There will be moving and handling and a feeding programme.

The ideal candidate will be someone who is reliable, consistent and pro active. Ideally someone who is able to bring new ideas and can make a difference. You will be flexible to work on a rota basis.

Preferably you will have previous experience working with children and young people and learning disabilities, you have experience working within a residential setting and are looking for a brand new opportunity. You will have at least 1 years work experience or 6 months with a relevant social care qualification. If you have safeguarding or a NVQ Level 3 we would love to hear from you!
