I am currently recrutiing for two Care assistants to provide care and educational support to a service user with severe autism and complex educational needs.

I am looking for candidates who have an excellent understanding of adults with complex needs, specifically Autism. The successful candidate will be compassionate and supportive with a desire to support the wellbeing and education of an adult with complex needs.

You will be required to provide housing related support to the individual, providing personal care and physical and psychological guidance. The successful candidate will be expected to be punctual, be able to create activity/education plans to be discussed with the client on a weekly basis.

You will have experience in working in a similar role with an NVQ in Health and Social Care or equivalent and have an excellent understanding of challenging behaviour. Certificates in First Aid, Manual Handling and Health& Safety are desirable. The successful candidate must have a full, clean driving license and have a current Enhanced DBS.

This position is 35 Hours a week and you will receive £10 per hour for day care (Mon-Fri), £12 per hour (Sat- Sun), £24 per hour for overnight care.
