** Care Assistant for the elderly **
** Northampton, Northamptonshire **
** Permanent; full time or part time **
** E; 7am - 1pm L; 1pm - 7pm **
** Every other weekend **
** £8.21ph - £8.75ph **
** Elderly residential home **
BS Social Care are currently recruiting for a Care Assistant to work within a elderly residential home within the Northampton area of Northamptonshire. This is a permanent role that can be full time or part time depending on what hours you are looking for.
About the employer; this employer is a well established care company who own approx 6 homes over the country working with the elderly accommodating to their needs at all times.
About the job; this role is a very important role. You will be responsible for ensuring every single service within your care is well looked after and that they are happy. Working with the elderly is a very rewarding role where you can make a lot of people lifes fulfilled and simply better. You will be there for the service user assisting them in everything they need assistance in. You will also work well within your team to communicate and make your day and the service users day as enjoyable and successful as possible,
About the ideal candidate; it is ideal to have some form of experience working within the health and social care sector with a health and social care qualification. However, if you do not have this, you will have a committed, caring and can do attitude and you will be eager to learn and train within a Care Assistants role. Working within this sector is not easy and you need to be a very loyal and hard working person.
A full time role offering either part time of full time hours will be available paying £8.21ph - £8.75ph. Shift patterns of 7am - 1pm and 1pm - 7pm will be offered. You are also able to do long days which will be 7am - 7pm. A host of benefits will be offered also for this role which will be discuss during interviews.
