" Full-time
" £17,000 to £22,000 Dependent on experience
" Driver (Desirable)
" Monday - Friday 9-5 plus on-call duties

The is a Home Care Agency that specializes in the provision of high-quality care to elderly individuals, people with mental health difficulties including those with Dementia and Learning disabilities and working with Vulnerable Adults and Children with Physical and learning difficulties.

On a day to day, Your Job will consist of scheduling hours of care- per week as well as on call once a every other week.
You will be planning and allocating the work load for the care staff. Managing and reviewing care plans, interview and select potential care staff, assist with invoice and pay roll queries and ensure client visits are not missed as the care you help to provide is very important to the people you support.

Person Specification - Essential Criteria
The following personal attributes are considered essential to the post of care co-ordinator:

" An active team player but also able to work on own initiative
" A good communicator.
" Understanding of legislation relating to community care

" Recognise problems and formulate solutions

" Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing

" Assessment and gathering information skills

" Organisational skills including scheduling work effectively, supervising staff and providing professional support

" Capable of accepting responsibility and coping with emergencies

" Positive attitude to own health and work attendance record

" Ability to implement and review care plans and work with complex cases

" Basic computer literacy.

" Maintain staffing levels at all times,

Desirable attributes:

" NVQ2/3 in Care qualification

" Car driver with access to a car

To be successful within this role, you need to be hard working, has a flexible approach without shying away from doing what is necessary to ensure the right care is provided to the service users and have care knowledge or worked with within a DOM CARE Provider.
