BS Social Care are currently working with an established organisation that provide domiciliary and complex care in and around the Birmingham. They are now on the hunt for a Care Coordinator to provide care services to the services users with learning disabilities and complex care needs in their own home.
Working closely with the management team, the successful candidate will play a key role in rota management, staff delegation and updating and amending care packages. In addition, you will administer medication, share "on call" responsibilities, liaise effectively with external agencies and communicate in a professional manner with clients and their families to maximise the quality of life for the service users. Assist with care calls which include personal care, companionship, meal preparation and domestic tasks.
To be successful within the role you must have a background in Health and Social Care. Have a clean driving license and your own car. Have strong communication and organisational skills. Have excellent computer literacy skills and be competent in using care planning programmes.
For all your hard work you can expect a salary £16,000 to £19,000 excellent in house training and the opportunity to complete your NVQ Level 3. Travel time and mileage paid for. Pension and holiday packages.
