Job Description

Care Coordinator required for an established domiciliary care service specialising in the provision of home care and support in the South Birmingham region. Your time will be split between the busy office and in the community covering areas such as Hall Green, Kings Heath and Washwood Heath.

Working closely with the management team, the successful candidate will play a key role in rota management, staff delegation and updating and amending care packages. In addition, you will administer medication, share "on call" responsibilities, liaise effectively with external agencies and communicate in a professional manner with clients and their families.

A positive individual, who is full of energy, you will be predominantly based in a busy office environment. Strong communication and organisation skills are essential for this role, as is a proven background in the domiciliary care sector. You will also hold or be working towards the QCF level 3 in health and social care and have a full UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle.

You must have excellent computer literacy skills and be competent using care planning programmes, such as people planner.
