Care Coordinator - Domiciliary Care

Job Description

BS Social Care are currently working with an established organisation that provide domiciliary care in and around the Black Country. They are now on the hunt for a Care Coordinator to work around the Stourbridge and Halesowen area providing care services to the elderly and disabled services users in their own home.

Working closely with the management team, the successful candidate will play a key role in rota management, staff delegation and updating and amending care packages. In addition, you will administer medication, share "on call" responsibilities, liaise effectively with external agencies and communicate in a professional manner with clients and their families. Assist with care calls which include personal care, companionship, meal preparation and domestic tasks.

To be successful within the role you must have a background in Health and Social Care. Have a clean driving license and your own car. Have strong communication and organistaional skills. Have excellent computer literacy skills and be competent in using care planning programmes.

For all your hard work you can expect £8.21 - £10.00 per hour, excellent in house training and the opportunity to complete your NVQ Level 3. Travel time and mileage paid for. Pension and holiday packages.
