Job Description

** Care Coordinator **
** Harpenden, Hertfordshire **
** Permanent and full time **
** Upto £23,000 **
** Homecare working with the elderly and Dementia sufferers **

BS Social Care are currently recruiting for a Care Coordinator within the Harpenden area of Hertfordshire to work with a care organisation that cares for approx 35 service users.

About the employer, this employer is a home care organisations working with service users within their own home. Their service users are elderly and suffer with Dementia related issues.

About the job; the main purpose of the role is to co-ordinate and manage the temporary Care Workers to ensure the provision of practical care assistance and personal care services to the clients living in the community runs smoothly at all times.

About the ideal candidate; we are looking for someone with good general level of education, including Maths and English at GCSE/O Level minimum of grade C (or equivalent), excellent communication skills over the phone, face to face and in written communications, strong ability to develop and maintain relationships, a clear understanding of issues surrounding confidentiality, ability to display good, sound common sense, smart, professional appearance, to be confident, reliable and dependable, possess excellent organisational skills, be a good team player, have excellent customer service skills, have the ability to support back up "On Call" duty rota, hold proficient in the use of databases, Outlook, Word and Excel, have a good sense of urgency and ability to prioritise, have good attention to detail, have respect and appreciation of quality standards required in the Care industry, have good experience within the care home / homecare profession, have the ability to be mobile as may be required to travel to different clients, hold knowledge of the Health & Social Act, have good understanding of CQC requirements in a homecare environment, be able to conduct investigations and manage complaints,

You will also be hardworking, motivating and have the want to do a good job for not just your service users and your co-workers, but for yourself also.
