Job Description
BS Social Care are currently working with a provider of live in and domiciliary care. Due to expansion they are looking for an enthusiastic, pro active, passionate and professional care coordinator to join their growing team.
As a care coordinator you will be responsible for managing a team of care assistants, maintaining good communications with services users and other parties as well as lead by example and to ensure a high standard of care is always delivered.
Your role and responsibilities will include but are not limited to;
- Managing a team of care assistants
- Preparing & scheduling rotas
- Writing and reviewing care plans
- Conducting risk assessments
- Interviewing potential candidates
- Conducting spot checks
- Being on call including service calls when sickness and holidays may arise
To be successful within this role you must;
- Have a passion for delivering good quality, person centred care
- Ideally have at least 2 years of experience within the care sector
- Ideally hold an NVQ Level 2 or be working towards the NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care
- Be flexible and reliable
- Be computer literate
- Be a good team player
- Be motivated and able to work on their own initiative
- Have exceptional people management skills
- Must be a driver with access to own vehicle
