Care Manager

We are working in partnership with a valued client who are currently recruiting for a Team Manager in Brecon.
They provide support to adults with complex care needs, such as Autism and Learning Disabilities within a supported living setting.

This role will involve overseeing three small services, with a total of 8 service users combined.

Duties will include:

To ensure that there are plans in place that promote peoples communication and support them with making choices and decisions.
To ensure that there are up to date service delivery plans in place that reflect what is important 'to' and 'for' the person.
To ensure the Support Worker and Assistant Team Manager induction process is followed and conduct probation reviews and appraisals of all staff within line-management responsibility.
To ensure that relevant meetings occur (team meetings, supervisions, observation of practice, reflective reviews, practice development days etc) and actively lead these.
To develop support teams that maximise peoples independence and assist them to manage risk positively.
To ensure Quality Assurance systems are implemented to continually develop and review the quality of support provided.
To ensure effective communication processes are in place with people being supported, relatives, advocates and external agencies whilst making effective use of technology.

Skills and Experience we are looking for:

QCF level 4/5 management qualification, or equivalent.
Experience of leading and motivating a team.
Ability to set clear work plans and review progress against clear standards.
Ability to problem solve complex issues and achieve positive outcomes.
Ability to deal with conflict and bring about positive resolution.
