I have an exciting opportunity for a care manager to join an established domiciliary and supported living care service, based in Oldbury, who prides themselves on the delivery of high quality care within the community. This is a busy service, delivering in excess of 3000 care hours per week.
You will join an independent care provider who has been established for over several years and has secured a great reputation for the delivery of bespoke, tailored care packages. You will become part of a team who put the client at the heart of everything they do and are committed to delivering consistent care and support.
You will join this organisation as a care manager and work closely with the registered manager and office team to ensure the effective day to day running of the service. You will play a key role in managing the staff team; effectively delegating tasks and working within CQC guidelines. You will liaise effectively with external agencies and visitors to the service and be committed to marketing the business in a positive manner. You will ensure all care plans and reports are up to date and that staff teams are managed effectively and in a professional manner.
Already a highly skilled deputy or care manager, you will have excellent communication skills and have a good working knowledge of care monitoring programmes. A good understanding of CQC policies and procedures and management skills are also essential to apply for the trainee/junior care manager role. You will be ambitious, committed and self motivated, with a passion to develop and progress through ongoing training, mentoring and person development.
The QCF level 3 in health and social care is essential to be considered for the care manager job role. You will also be working towards or willing to work towards the QCF level 5 in leadership and management.
Applicants will only be considered if they hold a Full UK driving licence and have access to their own vehicles.
