** Sudbury, Suffolk **
** Permanent and full time **
** Monday - Friday **
** 9am - 5pm with some flexibility needed on a rarity **
** £23,000 - £24,000 with the potential of £25,000 after an amount of time **
** Working with 18+ with mental health needs **

Right now, we`re looking for a Service Manager to manage the day-to-day running of a small group of Supported Housing Services in Sudbury, Suffolk. As well as ensuring the quality of service and support provided to people who use our services, we`ll rely on you to manage service contracts and KPI`s, line manage front line staff and organise building maintenance requirements. Whether you`re carrying out an induction, undertaking an investigation, putting team development plans in place or
providing support to our business development team, one thing`s for sure - you won`t be short of challenge and variety.

About the employer;

Who we are... Sudbury Supported Housing Service is tailored for each individual using the service with the ultimate goal to help you manage your accommodation and assist you with reintegration back into independent living and the wider community.

What we do... we provide 15 supported housing flats for clients experiencing mental ill health. The support is tailored for each service user and the ultimate goal is to help clients manage their accommodation and assist them with re-integration back into mainstream housing within 2 years.

We also offer a community support service for a fixed period of time. This is designed to help those already living in their own homes receive assistance with day-to-day tasks and activities.

About the job; core accountabilities include to manage the day to day running of the service/ location(s) to provide recovery focused delivery, to manage the quality and support provided to people using services in line with RF service models, to ensure operational KPI's on people using services, outcomes, utilisation and voids, etc., are met, to ensure data entry to management information & reporting systems is accurate, timely and in line with quality assurance requirements to prepare information and reports for internal and/or external use and to lead on positive risk management practice within the service/location(s) and where appropriate escalate concerns to the Area Manager.

The idea candidate; you will hold a managerial background working within a housing and or social care setting is essential due to the busy and complex nature of the role. Being outcome driven and solution focused, you will be expected to lead by example using an adaptable and inclusive management style, possessing the ability to manage conflicting priorities and a flexible attitude to working hours and a willingness to participate in on call arrangements. Ideally you will have an NVQ Level 3 Management Qualification/Care Cert- or equivalent professional qualification or working towards/be willing to work towards this upon successful appointment.

This is a full time and permanent role offering £23,000 - £24,000 alongside a welcoming environment with plenty of opportunities to enhance your abilities and build new relationships in addition to a wide range of learning and development opportunities.
