Job Description

** Care Worker **
** Rushden, Northamptonshire **
** Permanent; full time or part time **
** £8.50ph - £9.55ph **
** To work alternate weekend **
** Early shifts; 7am - 2pm / late shifts; 4pm - 10pm

BS Social Care are currently recruiting for a Care Worker within the Rushden area of Northamptonshire to work with local service users who have a variety of needs. This role will pay £8.50ph - £9.55ph and can offer full time hours and more if you are looking for that. We are looking for candidates who are compassionate and empathetic, who holds great work ethics and will be committed to their service users ensuring they received top professional care.

About the job; this role is a very enjoyable and active role. It is there to provide people with the care they deserve no matter what their needs. You will be very involved in these people`s lives making their day a very good day! You will assist with prompts on medication and checking in to ensure all is well, personal care if needed, shopping, going out in the community, respite and more. You will be the best possible Care Worker and love the role you do.

About the ideal candidate; due to the nature of the work, you will be a driver with access to your own car. However, if you are not currently a driver you are able to apply but the work will be limited. This is due to the service A Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or higher) alongside 2 or more years experience within the last 2 years is ideal but, is not essential due to a full induction, training and support provided.

This role is a permanent role ideally looking for people who can work full times hours or as close to. The role offers £8.50ph - £9.55ph alongside... Travel time, mileage, enhanced rates on bank holidays, guaranteed hours, annual leave, pension, full induction which will be in house; this will be around homecare and the company themselves, training; mandatory via both eLearning and class room, uniform, ongoing training, progression to Team Leader or Scheduler and then Registered Care Manager (only if this is something you would like), a supportive team, the company is going through changes at the moment so it is a good time for the candidates to get on board, modernising the company, competitive rates, earlies and lates, alternate weekends, flexibility with hours and an attendance bonus`s. A huge benefit to this role is that you are paid from your start time to your finish time in full and will not miss out on money when travelling.
