Job Description

** Carers Service Adviser **
** Norfolk company but you can work from anywhere in the country **
** Temporary and full time or part time **
** £22,000 **
** Monday to Friday; 9am-8pm and Saturday; 10am to 2pm **

BS Social Care have partnered with a charity care company who supports young and family carers. This is initially a temporary role of 6 months working either full time hours or part time as we will consider part time for people which will be a job share.

About the employer; this care setting is an ambitious regional charity that provides emotional and practical support, advice, and guidance to carers of all ages and their families, as well as opportunities to take a break from their caring role.

About the job; as part of our carer support team, your key focus will be providing information, advice and support directly to carers and in partnership with multiple organisations. You will be responsible for providing carers with information and advice, signposting additional services, breaks from their caring role and being someone to talk to and undertaking low-level carer assessments. You will deliver this service via a varied platform including by phone, zoom, email and online.

Operating on an agreed shift pattern to help cover our working hours of 9am - 8pm, Monday to Friday and 10am - 2pm on a Saturday, your role will enable you to make a positive impact on the lives of carers and help the team to significantly increase its capacity to support more carers and provide great opportunities for volunteers.

This is initially a temporary post for 6 months working up to 37 hours per week, consideration will be given to part time candidates as part of a job share. The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £22,000 FTE and company benefits as detailed below.
