TEMPORARY WORK - CHILDREN'S SUPPORT WORKER - SOUTH SHIELDS - £10.50 PER HOUR + BENEFITS

Working on behalf of a local authority, we are looking for temporary, childcare workers to work with vulnerable children and young people in respite centres.

The young people have a range of learning disabilities and needs so would require support workers who can, support them in getting dressed, personal care, feeding (some PEG fed), activities, medications and challenging behaviour.

We can provide training on medications, moving and positioning should you need refreshers or want to gain that skill.

You will be working alongside long-standing members of the team who come with a wealth of experience to support in 2:1 situations.

The is a temporary position adhoc shifts available to fit round you.
