Job Description

** Senior Residential Care Practitioner **
** Bedford, Bedfordshire **
** Permanent and full time **
** 173 per month with 4-8 sleep ins (sleeps ins not contracted but expected) **
** £11ph **
** Shift patterns; 1 on, 2 off **

BS Social Care are currently recruiting for a Senior Residential Care Practitioner within the Bedford area of Bedfordshire paying £11ph. This role entails working with children and young people aged 11 - 18 years old with emotional and behavioral difficulties. Some children may also receive care for learning disabilities and Autism. To apply for this role, it is essential that you are a driver, hold a Level 3 qualification within children and young peoples and hold at the least 1.5 years of experience working in a childrens EBD residential home. Without this, we are unable to proceed with your application. However, if you are looking to work within this sector, we are looking for temp to perm Support Worker candidates which we can discuss with you but a driver is essential.

About the job; to provide a supportive, nurturing delivery of residential childcare in accordance with policies and procedures. To support the Registered Manager with the smooth running of the home.
To lead by example and maintain good professional practices in accordance with the minimum
standards for children's homes. To help create a supportive and positive environment for each young people in reference to their safety, health and education.
