Registered Children`s Home manager
** £40000 per year
** Full-time and permanent
**40hours per week
**Managing a 6 bedded home
** Minimum 2 years experience managing a good or outstanding rated home

We are currently recruiting for a Registered Children`s Home Manager based in Leicester to manage a brand-new home, housing six children and young people (cyp) with challenging behaviour and EBD.

Our client pride themselves in providing exceptional care for both staff and residents.

Empathy, patience and resilience are paramount in this role as looking after children and young people can be very challenging.

As the registered manager your duties will include leading a team of up to fifteen staff members, making sure all the children and staff in the home are well taken care of.
You need to be able to multi task, calm and level headed as the environment can be fast paced.
You must be approachable but stern.
Effective communication is essential.


For this role you must have a minimum of 2 years` experience in this position or relevant to residential care of children.
Have at least one year experience in a role supervising and managing staff
Hold NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management or working towards one
NVQ Level 3 in CYP`s work-forces
Hold a GOOD or OUTSTANDING rating within your recent Ofsted Inspections
