Job Description

** Childrens Home Manager **
** Rothwell - Northamptonshire **
** Permanent and full time **
** £35,847 - £40, 922 **
** Monday - Friday; 9am - 5pm **

BS Social Care are recruiting for a Childrens Home Manager for the Rothwell area of Northamptonshire for a permanent and full time role working Monday - Friday; 9am - 5pm with some flexibility needed.

About the employer; this employer is a well known and large organisation working with looked after children and young people with emotional and behavioral difficulties. This service is only 2 years old and is a 5 bedded home for males and females providing a safe and nurturing environment.

About the job; this role is looking for a strong and dedicated candidate who is able to work closely with both the children and young people and the staff. You will be responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day running (in line with National Minimum Standards and Children`s Homes Regulations) of the children`s home including promoting the safeguarding of young people`s welfare. Participate in the on-call roster in support of the children`s home.

About the ideal candidate; for this role, you will have the following;

- A professional social work qualification (Degree), QCF level 5 or working towards
- Substantial managerial experience within a similar environment
- 2 year`s residential care experience
- Full driving licence

Desirable skills;

- Experience of project/ work planning, monitoring and reviewing/quality assurance
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and ability to interpret financial information
- Ability to use Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook email

This is a full time and permanent Children Homes Manager role working Monday - Friday; 9am - 5pm and offers £35,847 - £40,922 alongside a number of benefits such as being eligible for the Home Managers bonus scheme which offers an earning potential of up to £12,000 per annum.
