Nurse Practitioner/Trainer - Qualified Children Nurse

£32,066 - 40 hours per week

£21,375 - 20 hours per week

We are working with a leading, privately owned, provider of community health & social care for children and young people with complex health needs whilst living in their own homes across the North West of England.

This organisation is a preferred provider of NHS, CCG's and social services as well as providing private care and as such is very proud of the reliable and safe support that makes a real difference to young people, children and their families/carers.

This role involves delivering both the clinical needs as well as delivering clinical skill straining to support workers and families. This involves the pre-service assessment of those requiring support, working across Liverpool.

It's a home based role, spending a great deal of time within the community in service user's homes, training, assessing of the support workers/teams, conversing with family/parents and reviewing of current care plans. This role also involves writing detailed care and risk management plans.

Its a great opportunity to really make a difference to a child/young person and their families/carers ensuring they are able to remain at home.


Must be a qualified Children Nurse (NMC Registered/UK Pin No)
Need to have experience in supporting children with long term ventilation
Tracheotomy tube experience with children and training of workers
An understanding of complex health needs and how these affect children
You will need to be able to write care plans, manage your own diary and have strong communication skills

This role is available as both full or part time hours.
