Job Description

** Childrens Qualified Support Worker **
** Bedford, Bedfordshire **
** £25,767 **
** Permanent and full time **
** 8am - 8.30am **
** 48 hours per week = 2 shifts per week **
** Working with children and young people aged 8yrs - 18yrs with EBD in a residential setting **

BS Social Care are currently recruiting for a Childrens Qualified Support Worker based within the Bedford area of Bedfordshire. This is a full time and permanent role working 2 x 8am - 8.30am per week. These shifts will include sleeping times so you will not be awake the whole 24.5 hours.

About the employer; this is a medium sized company working with both settings of residential homes and schools.

About the job; you will be providing care to children and young people who have started their lifes in many different ways walking down very complex and challenging pathways. You will work within a small home to concentrate on the service users and their needs. Every day you are there, you will work hard to build a trusting relationship with the children and young people and work with them to ensure they are receiving everything the need from you, the team and the company. This role is where you can really make a difference to someones life.

About the ideal candidate; you will hold a Level 3 in a care related qualification, ideally, it will be a children and young persons or equivalent, you will hold experience working with children and young people in a residential home or similar and you will have work experience in children and young people complex behaviour. We are also looking for someone who is a driver to be able to take the children out.

A salary of £25,767 will be offered alongside a whole host of benefits for this permanent and full time role.
