BS Social Care is currently working with a childrens organisation who are currently looking to recruit new Manager into their services. This is a full time and permanent role. This opportunity will teach you the foundations of the company and grow with them as they embark on a journey to create the best possible care for looked after children. This company started approx 6 years ago.

In the light of developments in Northampton, they are now seeking a qualified and experienced Residential Manager to support their continued growth.

About the job; you will have full responsibility for the efficient running of a 1 bedded home. You will meet all statutory and legal compliance requirements, lead and develop a small team of staff who can meet the needs of our young people. Evaluate and evidence the quality of the service you and your team provide. Ensure that the young person`s individual care needs are met and that expectations are exceeded. Develop exceptional relationships with partners, professionals and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate must have 2 years senior experience within the last 5 years of working in a residential child care setting. This could be; a Senior RSW, a Deputy or higher. Hold a Level 5 QCF qualification or equivalent or be working towards Level 5, Leadership and Management - Children and Young People. Ideally have experience with the age group of children they support which is 8-18 years old. Candidates with a social work background are welcome to apply. A background in emotional and social needs children`s care services is needed. Experience in leading or participating in regulatory inspections. Significant experience of inter-agency working. A willingness to be flexible - they are small but growing rapidly and therefore managers need to be flexible in order to grow with the company. A valid UK driving licence is essential.

For this permanent and full time role, this company is offering a salary of £40,000 starting and lifting to £43,000 after probation.
