Our client is a nationally recognised mixed gender childrens home based in Halifax. At the current moment they house 4 boys and 1 girl with complex needs, therefore it is essential you meet our requirements before applying this role as they can sometimes present challenging behaviours.

You will be supporting the children emotionally, helping them with everyday tasks and also helping provide educational support.

The ideal candidate will have a DBS on the update service or alternatively be willing to pay £50 for a DBS directly through Brook Street Disclosures, be able to provide 5 years references and provide eligibility to work in the UK - eg driving license, passport and proof of NI.

It is essential you have a minimum of 2 years experience working with Children in a residential setting along with MAPA and/or Physical Intervention Training. Due to the nature of this role you must have the relevant experience, so please only submit your application if you meet this criteria.

The hourly rate will be a generous £9 - £10 with holiday pay to accrue.
