Children's Senior Support Worker - Temp-Perm

BS Social Care are supporting a client based in central Bridgend who are looking for a Senior Support Worker with QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care for Children and Young People. The ideal candidate will have experience of senior or leadership role within the care sector and have the ability to lead the shift through the understanding of safeguarding the young people. Therefore, the individual would be required to make decisions on practise and have the knowledge of following care plans and leading a team.

You will ideally be registered with Social Care Wales or be happy to complete this once you have joined. The client has requested that the suitable individual is on a temp-perm placement, this will be for 8 weeks with the opportunity to become a permanent member of staff. Based in the heart of Bridgend, you will ideally be a driver however this is not essential. Please note this role is full-time and will be a mixture of days and sleeps.

You will ideally have a DBS on the update service however this is not essential as one can be taken out for you. You are also more than welcome to stay on agency with us should you chose once your position is made permanent, however this is not a requirement.
