Job Description

** Childrens Residential Support Worker **
** Finedon - Northamptonshire **
** Permanent and full time working 37.5 hours per week **
** £9ph **
** 7.30am - 1.45pm / 1.30pm - 9.15pm (potential of shifts turning into long days of 7.30am - 9.15pm and working less days of the week) **
** 1 bedded children`s home working with children with learning disability, autism and challenging behaviour **

About the employer; this employer consists of two homes working with children and young people with Learning Disabilities, Autism and challenging behaviour. They are a company who hold high hopes and dreams. They work very closely with their staff providing training, qualifications, support, progression and more empowering their works every day.

About the job; we are currently recruiting for a Childrens Residential Support Worker. This role is to work closely with the 1 child (1 male) giving them the best possible care following their care plan needs. You will support them in cleaning, cooking, socialising, empowering, understanding their needs and wants, you will be a go-to for the children, a friend, a family member, a protector all whilst preparing them for adult life and having fun.

About the ideal candidate; it is essential to hold some relevant care experience and would be ideal to hold either a NVQ in Health and Social Care or the NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People - this is the qualification needed to work with children and if you do not hold it, the company will pay for you to do so.

This is a permanent and full-time role working day 37.5 hours consisting of 7.30am - 1.45pm or 1.30pm - 9.15pm over 7 days including every other weekend. Night shifts will only need assistance as over time as and when the night team are under staffed which is rare. For this role, we are offering £9ph, to pay for all training and qualifications including the NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People, 28 days annual leave, constant training, progression, annual pay reviews, work pension, free parking, paid meals on shift and more.
