Title: Children`s Support Worker **Waking Night**
Location: Radstock
Salary: £10.21 per hour
Contract Type: Permanent (Full time) (30 hours a week plus overtime available out of term)

About the role
You will be supporting a child with sensory disabilities & brain injury at home and out in the community.

Working alongside family through a care plan developed by professionals, family & therapists. You will receive specialist training and support to help you communicate with this wonderful individual.

Support will be out of school hours, mostly evenings, nights, weekends, and school holidays.
Your availability will be mutually agreed with you and the family.

About you
You need to be an easy going, friendly and positive individual who can show passion & empathy in supporting this child. It is important that you can demonstrate an ability to put the child`s needs first and be able to adapt your approaches to ensure these needs are met.

o Experience of working with children with Special Educational Needs and Disability and associated needs, either in a child`s or family setting.
o Have a Valid UK driving licence.
o Willing to work towards a British Sign Language level one or Makaton qualification
