We are working with a leading nursing home provider, with services throughout the UK on their search for a Unit Manager for their service based in the Dudley area of the West Midlands.

This organisation are very aware that its their nurses and care teams that look after their residents, day to day and at the heart of their every day lives. So we are looking for a Clinical Unit Manager who is able to lead a team of nurses and carers looking after their physical and mental well being.

With a drive on person centred care and some residents with dementia and Parkinson's needs, it is really important to place the individual and and their physical and emotional well-being at the very heart of what the teams deliver each and every day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for leading, directing and supporting team of Nursing and Care staff to ensure residents receive excellent standards of care.
  • Ensure all staff complete mandatory and required training.
  • Mentor and develop current staff ensuring there is a specific development plan for each member of your team.
  • Carry out staff supervisions.
  • Build strong relationships with local regulator/providers and Social Services
  • Comply to all CQC legislation.
  • Manage and monitor medication process to ensure 100% compliance.
  • Complete all relevant audits to ensure compliance both internally and externally.
  • Requirements

It is essential that you are :-

experienced of leading a team of people and be able to evidence this

registered nurse and have a current and active PIN.
