The role of the the support worker in this service is to support adults with complex learning disabilities, you will be supporting with domestic duties, meal preperation and personal care, some of the service users do have a stoma bag. This role offers full time hours on a temporary basis for a well established company. There are multiple services within a small area, you will be expected to work in more than one service across the rota.

The ideal candidate will be looking for a fixed term temporary contract, supporting in more than one service in Lancaster. We are looking for individuals who are reliable and consistent and wanting to make a real difference to the service.

If you have worked within the social care sector for a minimum of 1 year we would love to hear from you! However if you have 6 months with a relevant social care qualification this is also suitable. Ideally you will have some form of physical intervention training.
