Our client is a leading provider of mental health services in the voluntary sector, one of the UKs most innovative organisations working with people with complex needs. We have a dedicated and experienced staff team of over 440 people providing a comprehensive range of mental health services.

About the role

£20,582 per annum, pro rata
10 to 25 hours
Based: Kent

Typical duties may include:


" This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are dedicated to the principles of social inclusion, to work with adults with mental health needs. Based in our services in Kent & Medway you will be part of a team supporting people who access our crisis non referral service.
" This service provides crisis de-escalation and reduce immediate distress, provide information and support around crisis prevention for visitors and their families/carers accessing the service; signposting into other relevant and appropriate services, opportunities or agencies in the wider community.
" Working as part of a team, you will work closely with mental health workers, GPs, Crisis Team, A&E, Police, partners and other agencies.
" You will demonstrate an ability to prioritise work and will also be responsible for administrative tasks.
" You will be educated to a minimum NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, have awareness of/lived experience and/or experience of working with people who have experienced mental health issues (minimum 2 Years), particularly in a crisis setting, and will have the demonstrated skills and ability to help others identify and overcome barriers. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to demonstrate a proactive and highly motivated attitude.
