Job Description

This service operates 24/7 offering short term cases of adults who are in crisis. You will be required to complete sleep in shifts, this site is not on a bus route so your own transport is essential.

Working within a therapeutic environment the overall aim is to support service users through a mental health crisis to avoid the need to use the NHS primary care services.

Service users in the main only stay for 7 days so the work involved is incredibly intense, managing similar cases before is required.

Working with external agencies such as GPs, DWP, community mental health teams and local councils you will need excellent communication skills and can manage stressful situations.
