Job Description

** Brand New Support Worker **
** Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordhsire **
** Must be a driver with a manual license **
** 37.5 hourrs per week **
** £17,550 / £9 ph **
**E: 7am - 2:30 pm and L: 2pm - 9:45 pm**
** adults with learning disabilities, epilepsy and autism / complex needs **

BS Social Care are currently recruiting for support workers who have experience supporting adults with varied and complex learning disabilities. We are working with a residential home based in Hemel Hempstead. We are looking for candidates who can drive and have at least 6 months experience.

The charity that we are partnering with is a nationally recognised charity that has a long history of helping to support people with complex needs such as brain injuries, learning disabilities and autism. They create personalised plans of care that are unique to each individual. They are looking for people who share their passion for care and can help them provide a welcoming and happy environment for their residents.

The role will require lots of manual handling and personal care, this means the will need you to be able to to
get involved and help the patients whenever needed. You will be working with adults who have mild to severe Learning Difficulties and challenging behaviours.

Your duties will include:
- Writing reports
- Washing and bathing the residents
- Taking them out to for the day
- Preparing meals
- Arranging medication
- Getting them ready for the day
- Transporting them to various activities and back
FULL TRAINING WILL BE GIVEN
