Job Description

I am currently working with a charitable organisation that specialises in the care and support of adults with learning disabilities. Due to continued growth of a well know and leading provider of learning disabilities sites I am now seeking a Deputy Manager to help support two small residential sites in STRATFORD UPON AVON

As part of the role you will be responsible for;

" Managing rotas, updating risk assessments and care plans as required.
" To provide a customised, responsive and high-quality service to people with a wide range of needs including but not limited to learning disabilities plus other multiple sensory impairments or physical disabilities who use our services.
" To deliver services which meet or exceed organisational expectations and CQC standards.
" Provision of direct care and support as required.
" To create and maintain safe working environments in which staff can fulfil their duties.
" To create and maintain an environment where staff can achieve excellence, develop within the service and access organisational opportunities.

This role is perfect, if you are looking for that next step into management, maybe you've been a team leader or a senior and now are ready for the challenge of management. Or maybe you are a registered manager that is looking to step down.


You will have a minimum of 2 years' experience working with adults with learning disabilities. Be flexible to 24/7 rotas with sleep ins. Be a driver an have excellent communication skills both written and verbal.


For your hard work and commitment, you will be paid a salary of £19,550 plus a rate of £64.50 per sleep which will increase your salary to £23,207. You will also get the opportunity to complete your level 5 in Leadership and Management. Competitive mileage rates, pension plan, work mobile and laptop and 20 days holiday.
